For 25 years we ran Cooper's Chophouse in Chicago. Walter cooked; Margaret welcomed every guest. Hundreds of pans came and went in that kitchen — all except one. A hammered titanium fry pan Walter used every shift and never replaced. We tried to find more. We couldn't. So we made them ourselves.
When we closed the restaurant, we kept making them — twenty more years, all by hand.

From the Couple Behind Cooper
For 25 years we ran Cooper's Chophouse in Chicago. Walter cooked; Margaret welcomed every guest. Hundreds of pans came and went through that kitchen — except one. We picked it up somewhere in the late seventies, and it just kept working. When we tried to buy more, the maker was gone. One evening Walter said, "Then let's just make them ourselves."
That idea, born in the back of the kitchen, became Cooper Titanium: real titanium cookware made to perform, to endure, and to be trusted for life.
Now it's time to clear our stock. Before we go, every pan we have left has to find a home. Once they're gone, they're gone.
Thank you for being part of this.
